Who must comply

Washington State Artificial Intelligence Task Force / AI Regulation (RCW 43.330 (related)) applies to organizations that meet the following:

  • Roles covered: No direct statutory duties.
  • Jurisdictional scope: persons doing business in Washington or whose AI systems affect consumers in Washington.
  • Industry scope: not limited to a specific industry; check the law's substantive scope.
