Who must comply
Connecticut AI Bills (SB 2 / SB 5) (S.B. 5, 2026 Gen. Assemb. (passed both chambers; pending executive action)) applies to organizations that meet the following:
- Roles covered: developer, deployer.
- Jurisdictional scope: persons doing business in Connecticut or whose AI systems affect consumers in Connecticut.

Common exemptions
